Well, mercifully, this slow, dreary month has come to an end. July was definitely the least interesting month for me on this blog and that ended up being reflected in the lowest monthly total of posts so far. Hopefully, the change into August will bring with it a flurry of new and interesting releases and music to comment about. Here’s hoping.There are no album grade changes I want to make this month, although I’m probably going to change a bunch this time next month. Change is in the air…
In terms of album releases for August, I’m looking forward to reviewing new music from the Arctic Monkeys, Mew (the band, not the Pokemon), Julian Plenti aka Interpol frontman Paul Banks and finally this damn Lil’ Wayne CD that may or may not ever be released for public consumption. I’m also planning on reviewing an album recently brought to my attention, recorded by a band so mysterious that they may or may not be named the Xx. Stay tuned for more.
